Argh! Orientation broken

Just started using my ipad 2 and immediately noticed the auto rotation feature isn't working. Confirmed several times that it was not locked. Tried rebooting a few times.

What now? All the stores around me are out of stock (of course). This happen to anyone else? Any solutions aside from returning?

You sure you changed your settings accordingly?

The side switch by default mutes sound. (can be changed in settings)

After messing with it for an hour it decided to start working again. Very strange.

Btw, I did have the correct settings but thanks for the tip anyway.

This problem occured with my iPod touch a month ago and now the accelerometer doesnt work at all..

You should take it back and get it replaced before its too late.
