ARGH! Photoshop is annoying

Could somebody tell me how come in Photoshop CS sometimes when you change the size of a brush. It goes from showing the circle or box, so I know where the brushes borders are to only showing a crosshair without borders. This is exceedingly annoying because I can not work with photos now. How do I get the borders to be visible on my brushes again?

Sometimes it depends on the size of your brush. Usually if its small it does the crosshair, and then if its bigger it will show the outline. If you want to change the outline or cross hair you can do that in Photoshop>Preferences>Display and Curors.
