I’ve got a bunch of Arlo Pro 2 cameras connected to the Arlo Hub.

When I opened the Arlo app the other day, it asked me to grant HomeKit access, which I did.

In the home app, if I add a new accessory, it shows the cameras as available devices. It advises they aren’t certified so proceed with caution etc.

However I can’t enter the 8 digit code as the hardware shipped without HomeKit support.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to get them working ? I have homebridge which talks to the hub, so automation can’t change security states etc. But the cameras have never been visible inside the home app.

I’m curious about this too. Was looking to add cameras and was about to get some of the Logitech Circle 2’s which are just about the only cameras available for HomeKit when I stumbled across the above article yesterday.

What you’re seeing may be the beginning phase of HomeKit integration. Try calling Arlo... they may have more insight.

Here’s some discussion regarding your question in the Arlo forums. Looks to be some sort of technical error but they said they’re working to get to the integration up and running.
