Umm, yeah... don’t waste your money. The most annoying part about this whole ordeal is that the packaging is a real pain in the neck to re-pack. Going back to Best Buy ASAP.

If you think the Logitech Circle 2’s were problematic (which BTW, I’m an advocate of the Logitechs and I have had very minimal issues with them), the Arlo’s take the cake. Can’t use two way audio through HomeKit either or get sound. The delay is terrible as well. Logitech is near real time. Arlo is a good five to 10 seconds delayed.

Exhausted all methods of troubleshooting... Can’t view them remotely through HomeKit. When on the same network, I’ve counted almost 30 seconds before they go live. Even the motion sensors show “No response”. First of four cameras I set up went live remotely and took about 5 seconds. That’s pretty good. As soon as I added the rest of the three cameras, named them, set them up in HomeKit etc... the Base Station went down along with all four cameras connected to them. Tried rebooting all my Home Hubs, my phone, my network, the Arlo Base Station, tried removing and re adding the cameras etc... Nothing. Beyond furious.

This was obviously not tested. It’s all over the Arlo forums as well.

Rant over.

I picked up a 4 pack of Arlo Pro 2 about 2 weeks ago. Easy setup, works fine with HomeKit.

The only issue I have is that the motion sensors aren’t named properly in HomeKit. They have a hex value that matches each camera, but I can’t be bothered to match them all up and rename each.

That’s just my experience.

Wonder if there were any updates since I had them.

Also, are you able to get any audio through HomeKit?

The first thing that showed up when I first connected with the App, it had an update for the base station and each of the 4 cameras.

I just checked now and do have audio with HomeKit. I really couldn’t be happier with it.

Two way audio as well? Interesting... I went on the Arlo forums after reading your post to possibly reconsider these cameras and the consensus is that there are still a ton of issues and no audio at all. Curious why it’s working for some and not for others. Same like the Logitechs I guess. Those have been great for me but not so much for others.

No two-way audio, but it does work through the Arlo app.
