I would like to arrange my files in the downloads folder by most recent (in the order I've downloaded them) but can't do it. I have view content set to grid if it matters. I've tried "date added", "date created" and "date modified" but none of them arrange the files by when they were downloaded (which is a pretty normal request for a downloads folder imo).
The same goes for the finder, I only have the options "date modified" and "date created" but neither of them do what (I think) they should do.
For instance, I just downloaded two pictures one after the other and in "date modified" and "date created" mode one shows up as first and the other as last
and in "date added" mode (only in the dock) the show up correctly as first and second but the order of the other files are not correct. I can't understand how these files are arranged. Can anyone help? Thanks!
