Arranging bookmarks???

From as far back as iPad 1 I have been carrying the same favorites from device to device. I have begun using folders. I have a lot of links directly on the root. How can I move things off the root to a folder?

Go into bookmarks, choose "edit" and click on the bookmark you want to move. A new dialog will open for that bookmark, and you can change its "Location" (folder) from there.
