arranging files in finder

This has probably been covered but I can't seem to find or figure it out. Is there a way to set finder to always arrange files alphabetically? Or do I have to change it in the view options after every new file i add?

Show View Options (available in context menu) > Arrange By > Name > Use as Defaults.

Right click --> Show view options -->Arrange by (Name).

Edit: Damn i didn't update the page and you post first

Close all open finder windows.

Open one finder window. Change it to the view option you want.

Close that finder window.
