Hi
Because i have Time Machine doing one set of backups from ext hdd to another ext hdd i have started to use arrsync to do a second set of backups (from another ext hdd to another hdd). This is for an itunes library. I like arrsync as it does a readable backup, i.e the files look exactly the same.
All was going fine until i updated a spelling mistake on a track title, using iTunes i might add, not just retyping the file name. I ran the sync in arrsync, checked the backup and it created a separate, duplicated amended file rather than just amending/replacing/syncing the original.
Anybody any idea why this is so? Previously i altered the genre name in itunes and it just updated the backup without creating a duplicate.
Is there something i'm not doing?
Many thanks.
