Good to know that they will get amply rewarded for some of the tech articles they have written over the years.

Some of which showed up as slides in corporate presentations.

I hope this doesn't have an effect on their reporting of things like copyright reform and the RIAA's abuse. It seems like it might ruin/water down some of the more activist-y things they do.

shame kinda, but i guess it all depends on what happens at ars. its always been a great site, imo, i just hope that this doesn't ruin it.

Its the publishing house that own Wired that is buying Ars, they actually seem fairly cool IMO.

Anyway there should be an official announcement today on this.
