Article: iMac release not until late 2012 or 2013? Not good news

MR has essentially posted the same thing already. And all the other conflicting rumours.
So as usual, at the end of the day, it's anyones guess as to what Apple is up to.

Hm, his only explanation why Apple won't release a New IMac until next year is the announcement cycle of their major products. But a simple spec bump (wich most of us anticipate) is far from being such a major release, so I dont think that's a valid argumentation.

He is also saying that Apple is yet to "find a reason to build them". In my eyes selling one year old hardware should be reason enough to update.

Especially when the laptops have been updated which essentially use the same parts, minus the desktop CPU.

Don't give anything on this article .. they cannot even distinguish between iMac's and MacPros ... -.-

Even though Apple updated the iMac with a few new chips, the processors were the only difference; the iMac did not get USB 3.0, or any more Thunderbolt ports, or any new redesigns. Apparently, the only reason Apple bumped up the specs was that Intel stopped making the older processors.

Tim Cook denied that iMac's are planned for 2013 when Apple Spokesman said: "Mac Pro and the iMac will be released in 2013".
I think that 2013 topis is closed, we can only focus on 2012 iMac!
