Hello mods and admins!

The following article has been incorrectly classified as general news rather than political news:

The original article makes a casual reference to a conspiracy theory regarding the CPC trying to crack down on protestors by limiting AirDrop time and many subsequent replies are discussing the politics of China (including my own!). I don't mind the political discussion, I just wanted to make sure there's consistency in terms of 1) correctly classifying the article and 2) moderation regarding what kind of comments can be made about China. It seems slandering it is okay (as it should be, people are entitled to their opinion regardless of legitimacy) so I wanted to get ahead of the curve and make sure my post defending China is also okay. I don't want to be banned because people are angry at my post and mods incorrectly assume I was the first to make a political post in an article not classified as such despite others starting the argument first (both the article author and others by joining in on the dog-pile).

Thanks!

I agree. Not putting that in the political form is just making the mods suffer trying to keep up with what’s political and what’s technical. There’s no way you can separate the content of that article with politics. Politics is even mentioned in the original article.

The same goes for the article a few weeks ago regarding the guy who bought hundreds of iphones in NYC and was robbed in the middle of the night carrying them away from the store.
