When I open an image in Photoshop CS4 in Window < Application Frame, using a Mac with 10.5.6 & 10.5.7, there are weird artifacts that show up in the background area. If I zoom in and back out, they will go away. But how do I get rid of them all together? Is it a bug in Photoshop? There was a rumor that upgrading from 10.5.6 to 10.5.7 would fix it, but that didn't work. I have an iMac 2009 with 4GB RAM, and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 130 graphics card. This is the only problem I've had. Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

Will try to post screen shots of it. As opened:
