Ok, so here is the deal.

I just got a Video Ipod..and I love it...

I just took about 40 of my cds, and uploaded them into Itunes - wooo hoo.. Ok. What I would like to do is have ONE playlist where all of these songs will go (one giant playlist). No problem.

Here is the question. I would like to be able to see the artist AND song name while scrolling through the playlist on my ipod. Is this possible? All I can see now on my ipod is the song name. I assume this is something that needs to be changed in itunes in order for it to be effective in my ipod. Is this possible?

Also, if that cannot work, is there any way to make a playlist IN a playlist. I would love it if I could scroll to a playlist like "Jazz" on my ipod and then choose from other multiple playlists within that playlist, like "Modern Jazz" and "Old School Jazz" (so I can be super organized). Is this possible? I heard I can do something like this with a Smart Playlist (but can I place that in another playlist on the ipod?)

One last question...is it pointful to change the bit rate from 128 to 160 for incoming songs into itunes, or does it really all sound the same on my ipod and I am using the extra space for the higher bit rate for no reason..

Thanks people!
