While I'm very used to cases for my iPhone 4 and my iPad, it's not everyday that you see covers for the Magic Mouse, which is exactly what I have in store here today. Artwizz, a Berlin based company that manufactures Apple accessories, definitely have a plethora of products that catch the eye, some simple, and some not so simple. Their Magic Mouse Silicone Jacket is a very simple product that retains one goal in mind. Keep your Magic Mouse protected while still retaining touch sensitivity and sexy-ness. So, does the Silicone Jacket provide just that? Read on for the full review of the Artwizz Silicone Jacket for the Magic Mouse to find out.
Since this is such a simple product, this won't be a particularly lengthy article. The packaging was simple, came in a nicely packaged box, and only included the cover itself. The cover, which is actually very sleek and translucent, took only a few seconds to install, and followed the same procedure you would do when applying a silicone skin to your iPhone or iPad. You simple slide the skin over the edges of the mouse, and you should be all set and ready to go. I will have to admit though, the cover can feel a little loose at times, but I haven't had any instances of the jacket actually un-adhering from the mouse itself.

Not really much of an overview, but whatever is there is there. You have your whole mouse completely covered except for the bottom, where your batteries and power switch are located. The case itself feels great in the hand and offers a very soft touch feel to the outside of the magic mouse, instead of the usual glossy hard finish that I'm usually used to. Scrolling and multi-touch gesturing were as quick and as swift as it is with a naked mouse, almost as of there was nothing there. Of course it will never be as quick as a silky smooth gloss finish, but it does the job pretty well, in my opinion.
Durability wise, the Artwizz Silicone Jacket has withstood a rigorous month in my grime and sweat infested hands. No scratches, no smudges, perfect matte goodness. After taking off the cover however, the Magic Mouse was as clean and as sharp as it was before, no debris had gotten under the skin, and no apparent scratching from what I can tell.
Overall, Artwizz has made what is what I think to be the perfect accessory for the Magic Mouse, it provides perfect protection, still retains that modern and sleek look that the Magic Mouse is known for, and feels great in the hand. The only thing I can recommend Artwizz doing to make this product more fun would be to add a color selection. For now, it's the perfect and most simple accessory for the Magic Mouse.
