Artwork disappeared from random albums on iPhone 4 ipod App

Artwork that is embedded in my music files and existed on my previous iPhone and iPods is not showing up on my 3Gs. I loved having it on everything for coverflow and now i see holes everywhere for no apparent reason:mad:
