I resisted upgrading to MacOS 15 until the announcement of the new one.
So what I'm about to say is probably old news to many, but I was disappointed to find the spot-healing feature is no more in Photos.
Ok it wasn't as smart as the one in Photoshop. But it was fine 75% of the time.
But now literally every image I want to spot-heal has to be opened in Photoshop.
As far as I can tell, what a completely pointless deprecation of a useful feature which hasn't been replaced by anything else.
In the company I work for, all our changes - especially feature-deprecations - are driven by user-research.
Whereas Apple seem to just make it up as they go along.

Could you use Photos > Cleanup > Retouch for spot heals?
When Apple released the 'new and improved' Photos in MacOS 15, they created Clean Up, but in doing so, got rid of Retouch for just Erase - which often was about as subtle as brick through a window, and often would pixelate something it thought might be face. 'Updates' since have returned Retouch in Clean Up along with Erase -and I've used that to get rid of blemishes, scratches and creases in old pics. Maybe not as perfect as it could be, but...

An yeah, Apple does seem to make up stuff as they go along, while its traditional nanny behaviour ('We know what users actually need') often does get in the way.
