ASD # release 2.6.3

Hi, apologies if this request has been raised before but can anybody help me with obtaining a copy of the ASD Apple Service Diagnostic # release 2.6.3 so I can carry out a fan/thermal calibration on my late G5 Quad?

Yes thanks for that Intell, however I was rather hoping some kind soul might be able to direct me to a possible source as my local Apple Service Centre can't help due to the age of the G5 Quad (late 2005).

I think he means a repair shop or AASP that can perform the service.

Apple will show you the AASP's on their site. Hopefully you can find a good one that keeps older ASD's on hand for this.

Someone needs help fixing up their G5 to get it in fully working shape. No one is coming after you for sharing diagnostics tools created a decade ago especially if it's freely available to download off the net with a quick google search... Besides, these machines are considered vintage and no one will service them for free, even a "checkup" diagnostic to find a fault would cost more than it's worth.
