ask about hotspot on iOS 8

on iOS 8 device:
- 1 turn on hotspot, it will ask turn wifi and bluetooth, press OK
- (don't make connect to this iOS 8)
- back to Setting/Wifi on iPhone
we will see wifi connected insead of mobile data connected (3G,...). Anyone same me?

Hotspot uses Wifi or BlueTooth to connect the device using the Hotspot to the device providing the Hotspot - 2 separate devices are used.

To test if it is working, leave the Wifi area or use the "Forget this Network" (select the blue i in the circle) to disconnect the device providing the Hotspot from Wifi.

Turn on Hotspot.

Then connect the device using the HotSpot to the device providing the HotSpot.

If the device using the HotSpot can use the Internet, it is working.

I know how to make hotspot works. But i wonder why do we need "red color words" in Quote? is it bug?

I have no idea what you mean about "red color words in a quote" ??

This forum allows the option to colorize the text. I didn't colorize anything red ??
