What expensive connections are you referring to? With AT&T you connect, it's all included. Is your plan different where you are?

I live in Belgium. GPRS, 3G etc. are very expensive!
So I would like the iPhone to ask my permission before connecting through 3G or GPRS.

I have the same question. I do not have an unlimited plan. I would like the iPhone to ask me before it uses 3G or GPRS for internet traffic.

My iPhone seems to sometimes use 3g for internet even though it is connected to my wi-fi network. Any idea why this might happen?
