Nope it won't work.
1. It's just this month that the macbook started supporting 4gb of memory.
2. The current line up uses pc2-5300

it will work, but the macbook can only address 3 gb and it will only use it at pc2 5300. but since they are matched pairs you will have a grahics/ preformance boost compared to 1gb+2gb

well, i though, pc2 6400 still run on macbook.. (backward compartible).
The questions was .. would it run ..
i know, i just dont have the benefits to have pc2 6400 ...
(i'm not really sure bout this actually) hehehe

i need some advice.. would this ram run on my macbook black late edition 2006 ?
i choose this ocz ram, so maybe i could use it too for the new MB or even maybe the next new MBP ?

thanks

I own this exact RAM; bought it back when it first came out about 6 months ago for a lot more $$ :(

Works fine in my SR MBP but of course the MBP sees it as 667 not 800.

Cheers,
