Asked to agree to new terms & conditions after updating to Tahoe?

Hey there,

I just updated 2 MacBooks to Tahoe:

• On the first MacBook, everything was normal after the update.
• On the second MacBook, I had a "2" badge on the Settings app:
  • The first notification was that I have to agree to new terms & conditions (this also came in via a push notification)
  • The second notification was that I have to sign into iCloud again in order to be able to use some services

I agreed to the new terms & conditions and clicked on "Next" to sign into iCloud again and so far, everything seems to have worked but does anyone know why I was only asked to agree to new terms & conditions on my 2nd MacBook? Did you guys get asked? Thanks!

i did get asked. am guessing it's because both macs use the same icloud account?

Thanks for your reply. No, the MacBooks use different iCloud accounts (private & work).

too many variables; updating from the same OS? or one account doesn't need to be updated... altho, perhaps, the 'updates' will show up later...

Yeah, both MacBooks were updated from 15.6.1 --> 26.0.
