Could someone with a iPad mini please post a few pictures showing what a magazine looks like on the iPad mini? Doesn't matter what magazine - wired, national geographic, etc.

After selling my iPad 4, I'm very tempted to switch to the mini but as probably 50% of my ipad use is newsstand, I'd like to know its not too much of a strain to view magazines on the smaller display.

Thanks!

Magazines all have different approaches. The New Yorker, for example, does not allow for pinching to zoom text. But Wired does. So static screenshots won't really help you.

I must say that I have missed my full sized ipad, (which I sold for the portability of the mini), for the very reason that reading is easier on the larger screen. Retina of course is a huge help too.

Did this from my ipad. Let me know if you want another photo.

Here's one landscape.

I would agree with mcdj. Some magazine allow for gestures, landscape, etc and some don't.

Thanks. Could you post a photo (not screenshot) of the ipad mini displaying a magazine. I know there are various approaches to displaying and manipulating content but I'd just like to get a general ideal.
