Man, I just read this article from the hot news on Apple's web site...
http://ptech.wsj.com/ptech.html
This is just asking for someone to write a virus

this is old news in the computer security world, and the virus writers know about this. the articles details why a virus writer wouldn't be to compelled to write virus. there hasn't been a virus on the mac for 3-4 years.

This thread has gotten me confused...

The link is an iMac review..No viruses.

.............

On second thought, this link is ALL about about viruses on Mac's.

He must have meant this one:

And so what, even if it did encourage someone to finally write a virus for the Mac, all it would accomplish was 1) make people buy AV software, 2) make Windows people say "See? Nyah, nyah!", 3) make Mac people say "aaah.. 1 to 50,000 ratio of Mac viruses to Windows viruses. We're still winning. Nyah, nyah.", 4) it'll get patched and fixed within a week, and then it would all die away in a few months and the only people that would still rant about it are A-hats who write internet columns about Windows boxes and how dope they are and how much Apples are for tools and morons, screaming with wild eyes and spittle flying "There's a Mac virus! There's a Mac virus!".
