Asking Price for MBP

I've had my MBP since Late 2008, it's a great computer but I don't need a laptop any longer. So, as much as it breaks my heart </3 I want to sell it. However I have no idea what a decent asking price is. So I ask this communities expertise. I'll follow with an "about this mac" screenshot. It has 8GB of RAM, a 750 GB Hybrid HDD, Maverick, and a battery and power cord that are both less than a year old. I'm in Canada (if that makes a difference ).

Sorry if this isn't the right place to be asking, it seemed the most appropriate to me.

That will probably fetch you about 500 or so in Canada
i'd put in on kijiji with a hive price like 575-600 and be prepared to bargain down, and wait. lots of waiting

I just sold my MBP 15 with 8GB Ram, 128GB SSD, Core 2 Duo 2.53 Ghz (from 2009) for $550 on Craigslist. I couldn't get any interest above $600. Mine was in pristine condition.
