Asphalt 8 is a great app the graphics have improved major over 7 great update IMO

It lags, freezes, skips frames, on my iPad 2. Is it like this on the iPad mini, which has nearly identical specs? On other iPad 2 or 3s?

Yeh A5 does struggle coz its such a graphic intensive app but on iPhone 5 it's smooth as butter

Try restarting your device? I have a 4S and it runs flawlessly, better then Asphalt 7. Heard on the 2013 Nexus 7 the graphics need to be lowered to medium or framerates become too low. Nexus 7 2012, the graphics need to be lowered to the absolute low or it is unplayable.
