Please accept our apologies for the long time you have had to endure without your game. We are pleased to announce that the first of our game fixes are available for you to try out. Please understand that in order to quickly get playable applications to our customers all the patches we are releasing to remedy this issue have not gone through our normal rigorous patch testing process. Please let us know if you encounter any new issues with the game.
We are having to release these fixes in waves based on the amount of support requests each game is generating. The fixes will be released in this order:
The Sims 2
The Sims 2 University
The Sims 2 Nightlife
The Sims 2 Pets
The Sims 2 Open for Business
The Sims 2 Seasons
The Sims 2 Bon Voyage
Call of Duty 4
Civilization IV and Warlords
Civilization III Complete
Call of Duty 2
Lego Star Wars
Star Wars Battlefront
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and Soaked
We are aware that there are more games that are affected by this issue, and will provide fixes for them as soon as possible.
Fixes for all of these games will be posted in the same place in the knowlegebase:
Quicktime 7.6 fixes
When you go here, you will see a list of all games affected by this that we have provided fixes for. Simply click on the game title and follow the directions on how to apply the replacement .app. If you are trying to use the app for an expansion pack (or if you have more than one expansion pack) use only the replacement app for the disc that needs to be in the drive when you play. For instance, if the game asks you to put in the "University" disc when playing use the "University" app. If you do not see your game listed there, be patient. We will populate this list as we build and test these .app's.
