Well this is a new one.. at least for me..

trying to add a file .. ie new file

and then

I'd start with restarting Xcode. If that doesn't do it, trash any Xcode-related preferences/support files. If that still doesn't do it, reinstall Xcode.

Yeap that did it..

I guess it might have been Cocos2d sdk or something..
cuz that is gone now.. too..
