I use my iPhone 12 (with Guru Maps) for navigation on the bike. iPhone is mounted on the bike with a QuadLock adapter. Sometimes I have to zoom in on an area, especially in dense areas like a city. I use a single finger, double tap to zoom in and a double finger, single tap to zoom out. This works, but is not always very handy. When it's raining this action is less accurate and often fails the first time. The extra button on the back is inaccessible due to the mount.

I'm looking for a solution. Re-assigning the volume buttons should be nice, but I didn't found a way to do this.
Or a simple BT-remote like the Satechi media button. But all things I looked at are not free programmable. This Satechi thing is even better, because I can keep my hands on the handlebar. I searched the web, but didn't found anything. Maybe you did?

Is it possible to assign a physical button to the Zoom function with Settings > Accessibility > Zoom? Didn't find it, but enlighten me.
