I'm running Sonoma 14.2 and realized that Safari Web Apps (SWA) cannot be assigned properly to a dedicated workspace.
You can test this as follows:
1. Create a SWA (I did one for Google Maps)
2. Place it into the dock
3. Switch to a workspace you want to assign the SWA
4. Assign the SWA to this workspace by right-click its icon in the dock and select "Options->This desktop"
5. Switch to some different workspace
6. Start the SWA from the dock
On my machine I get the following:
When the SWA is starting up, the Workspace is switched to its assigned workspace, however the SWA is launched in the workspace from which it was started. So you are switched to the assigned workspace, but do not see the SWA window.
The correct behavior should be that the SWA should be launched in the assigned workspace, not in the workspace it was started from.
Do you see the same behavior?
Thanks!
