Assistance about Macbooks and newly known info

Here is my delima:

I was all ready to buy a Macbook Pro after or soon after the release date of Snow Leopard this Friday, but after hearing about how Macbooks are supposed to get a new look and new versions are going to come out, I am unsure I am making the correct decision. I read in some of the comments that this is just for netbooks (?), is this true?

I just want to know if I am making the correct decision by buying now, or should I wait it out and buy a newer version. I am 100% sure I want a Macbook Pro, but I am unsure if any new versions of Macbook Pros are coming out. Thank you to anyone who can assist me in advance

The post about macbook redesign which was on the front page this week relates only to the plastic macbooks, not the macbook pro.

Either way it'll probably be yonks until either's updated. Macbooks aren't normally updated at the end of the year.
