Hey guys,

Just bought the iWires lead from Apple mines a pre march 2010 laptop so i understand that the audio is not supported through the mini display port but i was told you could use a 3.5 jack lead to get audio on the tv but so far i have not been able to do so and wondered if anyone else has had this problem.

Thanks

It's a little difficult to understand what you're asking, but it seems you're hooking up a previous generation MBP to your television?

Make sure your TV is set to source audio from however you're connecting audio from your Mac. It may not automatically go looking for where the audio is coming in.
