I am getting overwhelmed by the number of email addresses I have, all spread across Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, etc and need help.

What is the best way to streamline my many email accounts and not sacrificing privacy for certain matters, such as banking and personal tax matters?

I was contemplating using the iCloud alias feature but my brother told me that is a dumb move using iCloud as my daily driver since if it is ever hacked I will have a huge issue since it is tied to my iPhone and iPad.

Help!

If you have 2FA turned on and use a very strong password, the chances of you being hacked are slim to none. There is no reason you can't use iCloud as you main along with aliases. For any email account that receives very important personal finance information, you can use a third party email account as a forwarding backup. Now you are streamlined and don't need all those different accounts.
