Hello everyone. My dad's had some serious issues with his touch.
He's trying to update to 2.0 and beyond. The problem lies with all the updates. We have purchased 2.0, and we have the "Download" button enabled. However, I try and click the "Download", and it does nothing. It goes to the "congrats you have downloaded the software" page, but nothing happens on the touch or itunes. Thus, I have no idea if the software is actually updating. I don't think it is.
So, how do we download it? Or, is there a way to reformat the ipodtouch (it's a new one, and it will be essentially a brick without the upgrade, so we're fine with that) and redownload the whole software?
The apple guys haven't been too much help, to be honest, and my father is frustrated with them, so if there are any easy solutions you know offhand, that'd be great.
