AssistiveTouch screwing up phone lock and auto-brightness

Seems, at least in my case, that I found one reason for my phone not locking itself after a minute and for some of the auto-brightness issues. Whenever I enable AssistiveTouch it messes both of these things up. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next iOS update. Will send Apple a message. Anyone else notice this correlation?

Same problem here. I've seen a few other people report it as well.
