soo i have an Iphone 3GS with a 16.15.00 baseband . im having issues trying to jailbreak it . i originally upgraded my phone through itunes , but couldn 't find a way to get through the activation process . so then i used sn0wbreeze to make a custom IPSW for me , then put itunes in DFU mode , tried to restore it using SHIFT + restore and selecting the custom built IPSW and got a " the iphone could not be restored (1600) " error ! PLEASE HELP ! i 've been trying to find a way to jailbreak for days now and im completely phone-less . ):

Can you get your phone back to the emergency screen? if you do, then use Redsn0w to hactivate it.
what is the emergency screen ? im able to get it into DFU mode still .
&& can redsn0w hactivate ? if soo , what are the steps ?
