I'm using 10.4.11 PPC. I used to have eterm installed via macports, and had the binary in my dock (the right hand side). Clicking on the binary in the dock would always automatically open x11. However, due to a horrible lib mess I got myself into, I recently cleaned my entire macports library and installed my favourite apps anew (mplayer, xv, eterm etc). Now however, the eterm in the Dock runs as a command in Terminal.app and doesn't start x11 - just dies with the error that it can't connect to display :0.0. Well, obviously it can't because it didn't start X.

When I right click "Open With..." the binary in Finder, and choose x11, it works as before. However, it won't let me "always open with" due to error -5000.

Anyone know how I can stop the eterm opening in Terminal automatically and instead open via x11?
