I suspect that there is considerable astroturfing going on in these forums right now.

Deliberately false and negatively biased info is being posted by several users that have just registered for the forum. The tone, tactics, and and matter-of-factness that pervades these posts makes them very suspect.

Quick examples:

Do I need to close apps

Apple's iPhone 4 is trouncing it's iPad

Thoughts?

Yes it's a conspiracy. And by drudging up lame forgotten posts, you are likely part of it.
