Hi all

I've just bought an ASUS BT400 dongle to upgrade my 2011 iMac to Bluetooth 4.0. This dongle is talked about as one of the only ones compatible with macOS - but for me its not detected in System Profiler, Bluetooth Explorer or using terminal commands.

I wonder if there is a different version of the BT400 that uses a different chipset. It doesn't list itself as macOS compatible on the box - or maybe I've got a counterfeit one?

I've tried on an iMac 2011 with Mojave (patched), a MacBook Pro 2011 with Mojave (patched) and a MacBook Pro 2013 with Big Sur

Has anyone got one working currently or having the same problems?

Tried on a PC and it didn't work either... guess I've got a dead one!
