I thought others might find it interesting that as IB notebooks are announced, ASUS's G75V is shipping and reviews started to appear today.

You can see one here.

I thought it was interesting that TB is now standard on these notebooks.

Intel stated that they were going to include both TB and USB 3.0 in IB and it appears ASUS has made those ports available to their users.

I always thought the ASUS 'Stealth Fighter' look was kind of neat and the G75V is a nice upgrade.

Having both TB and USB 3.0 gives their users a wide variety of choices for the coming year.

The specs are awesome!
Although it is 4kg, and 2" thick. And the battery likely sucks :p

But hopefully Apple pulls through soon with new MBPs.

That AREN'T Ultrabookified.
 
TB support is in the Chipset, so why not use it? Needs the additional ThunderBolt controller chip but if they're fitting a Mini-DP anyway it kinda makes sense.
