Does anyone own the new Asus ProArt (pA239cv)? Considering getting it but just wanted to see other thoughts.

I bought this monster and have been using it for the past week. It is an outstanding product. Great build quality, great display, great ergonomics, out-of-the-box calibration, etc. My only recommendation is to download "MonitorControl" app, currently at version 3.0, available freely via on GitHub. It allows for you to control the external monitor and sound via keyboard shortcuts. In my case, I am able to control the monitor via a magic keyboard.

It is as close to a iMac setup as I can come, given that I have personal and cooperate Macs. The usb-c display port with power delivery makes it easy to swap laptops.

*Currently using monitor with an m1 MBA, 15in MBP, and a random HP laptop.

Thanks for that. That’s awesome to hear. I’m changing my setup from an iMac to an M1 Mac mini, but struggling to decide on a monitor. This one has definitely caught my eye though.

any downsides?

Honestly - I would have to nitpick. I guess the speakers, which are only 2 watts, and sound pretty weak. I honestly didn’t realize it had external speakers until it arrived, and had purchased a HomePod mini to use as a primary speaker. Again, I would just download the above mentioned tool that enables native control of brightness - that is the one thing you need to do to make it feel like a Apple display.

The 4k version is fairly new but outstanding. The 1440p version is rated as RTINGS best monitor/office monitor for 2021. It has great building quality, and the quality of the stand surprised me. It’s stand is a heavy, texture metal that feels and looks nice.

I own a PA329CV and it has USB-C connectivity issues. Their software support is behind the competition, and the worst thing is their claimed software update to fix the USBC issue did not work at all. Honestly my U2720Q and U3223QE never had any issue, and if I were you I would spend that money on a Dell monitor.
