I have a very good deal on this card; 2nd hand, as new!

My Mac Pro is the 6 cores from 2010.
Is it possible to install this card on my Mac Pro, using 2 x 6 to 8 pins cables?
Would it kill my machine psu?
If not possible, what external PSU should I use? 800W?
