Hi all... just a quick question.
Anyone have any experience in 27" monitors, specifically the Asus VE276Q vs Samsung P770H?
The Asus states that it has a displayport plug... is that the same displayport that is in my white (2009?) macbook? If not, it's not a tremendous big deal, I bought the HDMI adapter when I bought the macbook.
From what I've read, alot of people seem to like the Samsung (except for the bezel being VERY reflective as seen in another MR post, but didn't see much "mac-side" comments on the Asus.
Price seems to be about the same right around the $300 mark for both. (BJs has the samsung for 299 (missed it for 269 last month, blargh!) Thanks for any comments.
(basically I'm looking to make my macbook into more of a desktop station, and thought just buying a monitor would be alot cheaper than a new imac since I'm not really concerned about the speed, it was more the screen size!)
