Would it work under boot camp?

I am using the first generation Mac Pro, and I am looking for audiophile quality sound card that works with my setup.

I realize that it won't work in OSX, but i can always duel boot to boot camp to enjoy the music at its best (well, within limits. )

Anyone tried?

im sure it would work fine, i used a creative soundblaster, albeit a USB one when i had my macpro.

Did the ASUS Xonar Essence STX work in your Mac Pro

I'm looking into purchasing the same card and wondered if it worked in a Mac Pro under bootcamp. Also, if so, what kind of adapter did you have to use to connect the additional power supply requirement? Thanks.

Your Mac Pro is essentially any other PC under BootCamp. Therefore it will work.
