hey gang,

I have an iPhone 5 with AT&T and will be traveling to Europe for 10 days. France & England....

Can you explain how i will be able to use my phone for gps and whatnot....

can i add a intl service for a month or does it not work like that.

Thanks!

Call AT&T, they'll eagerly add international to your phone so you can use it while away... they'll also charge you some obscene amount.

If you must bring it, turn your phone to Airplane Mode and then turn WiFi on... hell, I'd even take out the SIM and leave it at home if possible.

Best bet is to buy a cheap prepaid, disposable phone when you land and use that.

perhaps the wifi idea is best, that way i can still use it as a camera...

the main idea to bring it is to have GPS and Maps throughout the cities...
