I have an issue with the 3G with my iPhone 4. I got an unlocked iPhone recently directly from Apple to use with my prepaid ATT service. I cut down my old regular size SIM card that I had used with an ATT prepaid phone and then put it in my iPhone. I then changed the APN settings with unlockit.co.nz, and I was able at first to connect to 3G. Now, most of the time when I try to use 3G, the phone says that it "cannot open the page because it could not connect to the server." I do have a data package on the SIM card and I am able to connect easily to wifi. Sometimes it does connect to 3G, but then it will say the same message. I can make phone calls and text people, and I make sure the 3G is set to "on." Did I make a mistake cutting the SIM card, or is my sim somehow too old or something? (i got the sim in like 2007, i think.) Or is there some other problem?

Thanks!

Maybe the SIM is damaged or it isn't completely compatible with the iPhone 4. I would try getting a new SIM card first.
