AT&T - Accurate Text Message Quota??

So, I have been very suspicious about AT&T claiming I have been using as many SMS as they have said. My bill reset and I checked my quota and it said I used 8 messages. I went to my phone and counted....6 SMS sent since the billing cycle began.

Small sample size, but that is 33% overage charge. Is anyone else noticing this??
