Does anyone know if AT&T still tries to charge an activation fee for adding an Apple Watch? I somewhat remember reading a thread last year that you can get it waived but I can't find the thread anymore. Thanks!

Not sure. I ordered my watch from them over the weekend. It said the activation charge was waived. Not sure how long that promotion is going on.

Activated my watches back in May and they waived the fee and credited my account $60. Three months free for two watches. That was automatically applied to my account without knowing it was a thing or ever talking to anyone. Worth reaching out and talking to someone to see if this is still going on.

Verizon offered 3 free months and free activation for watch series 3 but, it was only for that year. Would be surprised if ATT did it but, you can ask.
