AT&T APN with a non AT&T sim provider that uses the AT&T network?

Does anybody know if you use an att APN to enable data with a gophone sim would it also work with other sim cards that use the att network?

My next step will be to see if I can use data with my Pure TalkUSA sim since it uses the same network. Pure Talk does not offer data.

I surfed a few pages on the web on an Iphone I have with a gophone sim that I just enabled to use data. I was going to post how much it cost me (I have the 10 cent a minute plan) but it hasn't posted to my account yet. It usually only takes a couple of minutes at the most to see the charges. Maybe it is free

If it ever posts a charge I'll let you know.

OK, don't do this with a gophone sim without a data plan. Less than one minute of data use cost me $6.60, 1 cent per kb!!
I will try my pure talkusa sim and see what happens.

Anybody with a contract can get the grandfathered unlimited data plan, with a little work.
