Did anyone else get this? at 10am this morning, I got a text from Apple saying "An important software update for the Iphone 3G has been available on iTunes since this past Monday. To get it, simply sync your iPhone 3G with iTunes and check for updates."

Is 2.0.1 or 2.0.2 really that important? I have 2.0 jailbroken and am not exactly sure if I want to upgrade, unless I get better 3G service or something.

Sure did.

Sure did, around 7:30 last night.

"A free message from Apple and AT&T: An important software update for iPhone 3G has been available on iTunes since this past Monday. To get it, simply synch your iPhone 3G with iTunes and click the (Check For Update) button".

Nice way for Apple to get everyone updated and get these poor people out of the hell hole known as "2.0".
