If you have a Delivers-By date beyond 9/19, it's possible you'll get bumped up. If your Delivers-By date is 9/19, we've heard of phones sometimes showing up a day early, but it's very rare with all the shipping logistics Apple has in place.
They'll literally just let it sit in a warehouse near your home and deliver it on the scheduled day, even if it could theoretically be delivered early.
